How did you get started? Way back in the day, Elliott Rubin - now, Great Ideas, Inc. C.E.O. - owned and operated one of the most successful riding, training, and boarding stables in Illinois. Caring for and riding horses is still his passion, but after many years of success Elliott felt it was time to supplement the costs of a growing family - and many horses - with an idea that would make profits all year... 
In 1964 came his big idea... Great Ideas Inc.! This venture into the world of Promotional Products was an obvious choice for Elliott, who had used promotional products to help strengthen the market share of his own business. Elliott's outgoing personality, and firm commitment to service & quality, soon gained him a growing "stable" of satisfied clients, using everything from double-eraser pencils to embroidered apparel... with names and logos prominently and colorfully displayed.
